Management / Financial Accountant

We are looking to appoint a Management / Financial Accountant To assist the Financial Controller. This is a Dublin based position reporting to the Financial Controller.

AVAILABILITY: One Month / August

QUALIFICATION:

Part qualified ACCA (or other relevant qualification) – must be in a position to qualify within a maximum of 2 years and have a proven exam track record.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have worked for a minimum of three years in a similar role.

- Ability to work within and meet deadlines

REPORTING TO: Financial Controller

SALARY: Negotiable depending on experience

COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:

Familiarity with some recognised accounting packages and the suite of Microsoft Office programs

JOB SPECIFICATION:

To assist the Financial Controller in the management of the Irish and Scottish companies in the following areas:

- Financial Control and Management Control including:
        - Preparation of management accounts
        - Preparation of budgets / forecasts
        - Financial analysis of company performance including
          monitoring margins, cost control, variance analysis

- Treasury management including monthly cash flow projections

- Assist with management of Accounts Payable and Credit Control

- VAT Returns and Reconciliations

- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines in relation to all financial matters.

- Development and documentation of internal controls and procedures.

- Producing weekly and monthly management reports for senior management.

- The continued development of Tourplan operating system.

- Any other responsibilities and projects as set out by the Financial Controller.
